Our Spanish Residential Course Malaga is for expats or foreigners living in Malaga for a longer period of time. Our Spanish language school offers the Residential Course in two modalities:
- One day per week, 10-11:50h, 2 lessons/week
- Two days per week, 10-11:50h, 4 lessons/week
Escuela La Playa and you will agree upon one/two days per week when the Spanish Residential Course takes place. The Spanish Residential Course Malaga has to be booked for at least four weeks. This course is made for residents who, apart from learning Spanish, follow other activities such as work, studies or travel. Since you will be in Spain for a long time (or maybe forever), there is no need to attend every day a Spanish course, since you practise in your free-time anyway and you have a lot of time to progress steadily. A lot of our residential students opt first for a semi-intensive or intensive course before they reduce the hours and take part in the residential course.
Please take in mind that the Residential Spanish Course Malaga is not an independent course itself. This means, that the participants of the Residential Course are together in the course with participants of the Semi-Intensive/Intensive Course. The only difference is that participants of these course attend the course every day from 10-11:50h and the residents only once/twice per week. That is why you should keep in mind that the content/grammar/vocabulary which has been treated in class the days the resident has not been at school, has to be caught up at home. Because of this, we only recommend the Residential Course to foreigners with a Spanish level of B1 or above. During the level A1/A2, the progress you make from one day to another is very big and it is hard to catch up all the new vocabulary, grammar and topics at home. At a level of B1 or above, you already know the basics and the most important grammar rules. This means, that the amount of new grammar is, in comparison, lower. Since the participants of these groups have more Spanish skills, you will discuss and argue in class. Conversational topics can more easily studied at home.

FAQ about our Residential Spanish Course Malaga
I live nearby and want to keep practising Spanish on a regular basis. Should I take the Residential or the Semi-Intensive Course?
However, if you have an A1/A2 Spanish level, we definitely prefer doing first some weeks of Semi-Intensive Course before attending the Residential one.
On which day(s) does the Residential Course take place?
If in one week you cannot attend the course because of any reason and you tell us before, we can schedule a different day (according to availability).
